Trackman analysis
What your ball flight really shows.
A good fitting does not start with an assumption. Trackman measures what actually happens on every shot and shows where club and swing match, and where they don't.
- 01km/h
Ball speed
How efficiently energy is transferred from the club to the ball.
- 02degrees
Launch
The angle at which the ball takes off, decisive for an efficient flight curve.
- 03rpm
Spin
How much backspin is generated and how strongly it affects height, distance and control.
- 04Metres
Carry
How far the ball actually travels through the air.
- 05degrees
Direction
How the ball starts and how consistent the direction is.
- 06Metres
Dispersion
It is not only the best shot that counts. What matters is how repeatable the result is.
No single number decides. Jonathan looks at the whole picture and combines the data with how the club feels in your hands.
The difference is measurable
Not the most expensive club.
The right one.
A fitting is not meant to simply sell you a new model. It is meant to show which combination lets you make better use of the game you already have.
The result is not a theoretically perfect number but a configuration that suits your game.
- Launch
- The right loft helps bring the ball into a more efficient flight window.
- Spin
- Head and shaft can help reduce excess spin or build up missing spin.
- Dispersion
- A suitable configuration can allow more consistency and control.
- Feel
- Weight, length and shaft must not only work on paper, they must also match your feel.
- Configuration
- Loft, lie, head and shaft are not judged separately but as one system.
- 01
Understand
We talk about your current set, your game and what you would like to change.
- 02
Measure
You hit your own clubs. Trackman provides the baseline data for ball flight, spin, distance and dispersion.
- 03

We test different heads, lofts and shafts and compare the results side by side.
- 04
Tune
Jonathan combines the measurements with your feedback and narrows down the right configuration step by step.
- 05
Decide
You get a clear recommendation. No sales pressure, and no unnecessary changes if your current setup already works well.

Technology is only half the job
Measure the data.
Experience decides.
Trackman delivers precise measurements. What matters is reading them correctly.
Jonathan Strickland combines the analysis with his experience as a PGA Professional and his daily work on golf clubs in his own workshop.
So the fitting does not end with a number on a screen. Shaft, loft, lie, length and build can be assessed straight away with your actual game in mind.

Who is it for?
Fitting is not just for pros.
A fitting makes particular sense if you feel your equipment does not quite suit your game, if you want to buy new clubs, or if you simply want to know whether your current setup really works.
Suitable for
- ambitious beginners
- regular club golfers
- experienced golfers
- players about to buy clubs
- golfers struggling with ball flight or dispersion
You do not need a perfect swing. On the contrary: the club should suit the game you actually play, not a theoretical ideal swing.

Questions
Before you book.
How long does a fitting take?
Allow about 60 minutes. That leaves enough time to measure your starting point, test different options and compare the results properly.
How much does the fitting cost?
The fitting costs 75 €. If you then order your clubs through Strickland Golf Services, the 75 € are credited.
Should I bring my own clubs?
Yes. Your current clubs matter because they are the starting point for the comparison.
Is a fitting worthwhile if I don't have a low handicap?
Yes. Especially for everyday amateur golfers, a suitable club configuration helps avoid amplifying existing inconsistencies with unsuitable equipment.
Do I have to buy anything after the fitting?
No. You receive a recommendation based on your measurements and tests. Whether and how you proceed is entirely up to you.
What gets changed during a fitting?
Depending on your needs we look at clubhead, loft, lie, shaft and length, among other things. Not every component has to change.
