Take a photo of your club

We guide you through five short shots. We need three of them to reliably recognise brand, model and condition; two more make the result more accurate. It takes about two minutes.

How Jonathan assesses the value

Kein Katalogpreis, sondern das, was ein geprüfter Schläger im Regal wirklich bringt. Diese sechs Punkte entscheiden über den Betrag.

Model year
up to 6 years
The more recent the range, the better it holds its resale value. We don’t accept clubs more than six years old for trade-in.
Clubface
biggest impact
Light signs of play are normal. Deep gouges or a dented clubface reduce the value significantly.
Shaft
Original matters
An original shaft in the right flex is worth more than a replica replacement with no proof of origin.
Grip
small deduction
A worn grip costs little to replace — we change it in the workshop anyway.
Accessories
Plus
A headcover, adjustment wrench and original sleeve can noticeably increase the value.
Demand
saisonal
In-demand drivers and iron sets are worth more in spring than in late autumn.

The ground rules

  • The value is issued as store credit only; no cash payout is available.
  • We accept drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and iron sets, generally up to six years old.
  • Jonathan makes exceptions for certain models — just ask.
  • Strickland Golf may decline if resale would not be financially viable.
  • The value only becomes binding after inspection in Duisburg.

Your old driver has been in the cellar for two years and isn't gaining value

Every year in the cupboard reduces its value. Trade it in while the range is still in demand and receive its value as store credit.

  • No selling stress

No listings, no strangers at your door, no shipping.

  • Credit applied straight away

The value goes towards a fitting, a repair or your next club.

  • Honest inspection

Over 30 years of workshop experience, not an algorithm-generated price.

  • No obligation

If you're not happy with the valuation, simply take your club home again.
